Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid-Reza Assefi said today that his country wants all ambiguities over its
controversial nuclear programme removed and will allow inspection of a military site. There has been criticism by the United States over the Parchin military site, but Assefi said Iran wants to remove all ambiguities and allowed the International Atomic Energy Agency, the IAEA inspectors to take relevant samples from the O-U-T-S-I-D-E of the
military site.
The spokesman was referring to Iran's decision to allow IAEA inspections of the military site in south-east Teheran, one of the venues allegedly used by the Islamic state for secret nuclear projects.
Assefi said Iran's decision to allow inspection of the site has been on a voluntary basis.
