“The most recent IAEA report, released last week, is another reminder that Iran hasn’t fully disclosed its nuclear efforts and can’t be trusted,” writes the Chicago Tribune in an editorial.
“So while the IAEA wags its finger, a hard-line theocracy that proudly funds terrorist groups is allowed to continue the flagrant lying about its nuclear weapons program without so much as a deadline for coming clean. And the IAEA can thank Germany, France, and Britain for it,” the Tribune editorial said.
“Iran is doing what it does best: bamboozling the Europeans while playing for time to build nuclear weapons. This is a deadly game of nuclear brinkmanship that only grows more dangerous by the week,” it said, urging the European countries to break off trade relations with Iran, and Russia to stop work on the Bushehr nuclear power plant.
