What right does Rowhani have to commit Iran to Europoens on suspension of uranium enrichment, asks former reformist MP Ali-Akbar Mohtashamipour. Former reformist Majles MP Ali-Akbar Mohtashamipour blasted chief nuclear negotiator Hassan Rowhani for committing Iran to suspension of uranium enrichment activity. “Suddenly foreign ministers of Britain, France and Germany came to Tehran and signed an agreement with secretary of the supreme national security council, whereas while Iran is dealing with the UN International Atomic Energy Agency, the Europeans did not have a right to act as Iran’s custodian.”
Rowhani has signed another deal with European foreign ministers in his trip to Brussels, the contents of which have yet to be revealed, Mohtashamipour, a member of the reformist society of militant clerics, added.
“What right does Rowhani have to sign contracts with Europeans behind closed doors, and why has not revealed the nature of these agreements to the Iranian people,” he asked.
