HUMAN RIGHTS: Canada Will Bring Kazemi’s Case to International Court, Lawyer of Slain Journalist’s Son Says


July 19, 2004 - With the abrupt end to the trial proceedings, our patience has ran out, and we think it is time Ottawa took this case to the Hague court, John Terry, a Canadian attorney representing slain journalist Zahra Kazemi’s Montreal-based son Stephan Hachemi tells Radio Farda’s Toronto correspondent Maryam Aghvami. Hachemi and his lawyers are trying to bring Kazemi’s corpse to Canada for an autopsy, and at the same time, are pressuring Canada to sue Iran in the Hague court, Terry adds.
