Iran Says it Seeks to Resolve Differences with U.S.

Iran's top nuclear negotiator says Tehran wants to resolve its outstanding differences with the United States. The official, Hasan Rowhani, says Iran wishes to avoid tensions with Washington. Rowhani told state-run television today that it's the Americans who don't want the problems to be resolved. He said: “We are not after intensifying the tension in our relation with U.S. We are after finding ways to resolve our differences. The American themselves ignore the opportunities.” However he added: “We can resolve our problems. In this day and age nothing is unresolvable.” The primary dispute between the two countries involve Iran's nuclear program. Washington says it believes Iran is secretly using its civilian nuclear program to build a bomb. Iran has denied these allegations.
