Iranian state media says the final death toll of yesterday's plane crash in Tehran reached three. A jet belonging to the Iranian Saha airlines was returning from the Gulf tourist resort of Kish Island in southern Iran when it caught fire while landing at Tehran airport, crashed and slid into the Kan River. A child, a woman and a man were killed. The crash cause has yet to be determined. Hopes of finding the body of the four-year-old boy faded almost 24 hours after the crash, and he was presumed to have drowned in the river. Eighty of the total 173 passengers and crew members were injured, most them only slightly.
