The US expelled two security guards at Iran mission to the UN for taking pictures of “sensitive” sites in New York after two previous warnings against photographing, US officials said on Tuesday. Iran’s UN mission said the guards photographed only typical tourist sites.
This is aimed at disrupting the daily routine of Iran’s permanent representation office, and this is not in harmony with the accepted norms," a foreign ministry official said in Tehran, calling the expulsion “politically and ethically cheap” and contrary to the international conventions.”
