ECONOMY: Iran Expands Economic Relations with Asia
July 14, 2004 - Iran has increasingly expanded its economic relations to Japan, China, South Korea, and Singapore. In comparison, Iran-US trade relations have declined to practically zero and future outlook of trade with the European Union doesn’t seem too bright. The Asian countries are hardly able to take the place of Europe and the US in providing all of Iran’s scientific and technical needs, he adds.
