TIES: Anti-Regime Activist Opposes Resumption of US-Iran Relations
July 22, 2004 - As some Iranian exiles campaign to press the US to resume normal ties with Iran, the Los Angeles-based Mission for Establishing Human Rights in Iran (MEHRR) opposes such relations. By having normal relations with the Islamic Republic, foreign countries assist in the survival of the regime in Iran. It is our duty as human rights activists in exile to prevent such assistance, spokesman Mohammad Parvin tells Radio Farda’s Los Angeles correspondent Firouzeh Khatibi.
