• “The international community is expecting (Iranian authorities) to answer its questions and to respond fully,” US Secretary of State Colin Powell said yesterday after a meeting in Washington with IAEA chief Mohamed ElBaradei, hinting that Iran may face sanctions if it did not “fully” cooperate with the UN inspectors. In September, when the IAEA holds its next scheduled board meeting, “judgments can be made as to what action might be appropriate,” Powell said.
