Following the election of Mahmood Ahmadinejad as president, Iran's foreign ministry said today Tehran will continue to engage in nuclear negotiations with the European Union, but is in a stronger position.
A ministry spokesman (Hamid Reza Asefi) said that with this election, the Islamic republic is more capable of confronting challenges.
