July 25, 2004 The Islamic government drafted a bill that would ban selling tobacco products to minors, smoking in public places and government offices and tobacco advertising. It said the ban would be aimed at reducing teenage smoking. Healthcare ministry said in a statement that it will do all it can to prevent the rise of tobacco use in the country.
