July 25, 2004 - Russia supports Iran’s right to peaceful use of nuclear energy, within the frameworks of the UN Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty, Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov told reporters in Cairo. Russia is working on a comprehensive scientific and technological cooperation treaty with Iran, he added.
