Iran has criticized Britain's human rights record, after police hunting the London bombers shot dead an innocent Brazilian man by mistake. A spokesman for the judiciary said Britain cannot criticize Iran on human rights when its own security forces killed an innocent person. The spokesman, Jamal Karimi Rad, also said Britain has what he called "a very dark record" of human rights violations in Iraq and Afghanistan. British police said at the weekend they had shot a Brazilian man in error after he was mistaken for a suicide bomber. Undercover police shot the man in the head after chasing him onto an underground train on Friday.
